1. Overview

outdo is a performance tracking application designed to help users measure execution and progress across defined life categories ("Cores", "Goals", and "Tasks").

We collect only the minimum data required to operate the Service. We do not sell or rent personal data.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process personal data based on:

  • Contract necessity – to provide the Service you request.
  • Legitimate interest – for security, analytics, and service improvement.
  • Consent – where required (e.g. optional analytics features).

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account Data

We collect email addresses, names (if provided), and authentication data (Google OAuth / Next-Auth). Used for account creation, login, and syncing progress.

3.2 Performance Data

We store data you create: Cores, Goals, Tasks, task descriptions, and progress values. This is core functionality data required to operate the Service.

3.3 Usage & Technical Data

We may collect IP addresses, device/browser information, and usage logs. We may also use analytics tools like PostHog or Vercel Analytics to improve the Service.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. No advertising cookies are used.

5. AI Processing

outdo uses third-party AI models (Claude by Anthropic) to provide features.

  • selected user inputs (tasks or progress data) may be processed by AI providers
  • data is used only to generate responses
  • we do not use your data to train AI models

Depending on provider infrastructure, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

6. How We Use Your Data

  • operate core app functionality
  • calculate and display progress
  • maintain user accounts
  • process payments
  • ensure security and prevent abuse
  • improve service performance

7. Third-Party Services

We use trusted processors:

  • Vercel: hosting and frontend infrastructure.
  • Railway: backend and database hosting.
  • Next-Auth: authentication.
  • Lemon Squeezy: payments (Merchant of Record).
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.
  • Anthropic (Claude): AI processing.
  • PostHog / Vercel Analytics: product analytics.

8. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active. If you delete your account, data is removed from active systems within 30 days. Backups may persist for up to 30 additional days before automatic deletion.

9. Data Deletion

You may request deletion at any time by emailing outdomode@gmail.com. We will verify ownership and permanently delete your account and associated data. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures provided by our partners, including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls.

11. International Transfers

outdo is available globally. Your data may be processed in the EU, United States, or other jurisdictions depending on service providers.
